Dr. Eimer,

“I wanted to take a moment to send you a note and thank you for all you have done for me.

After losing my mother and father over the last few years, I was in a dark place. I did not know how to deal with life at that point. It felt truly as if the world was sitting on my shoulders. I always shrugged off therapy, never believing in it and always saying that I can tell myself whatever a therapist might offer as insight or opinion. You proved me wrong. Although it took some time, trust, and a lot of work, you have made me better. You have helped me improve the person I am not just with the losses of loved ones, but my day to day life.

At first, I did not want to listen to what you had to say, I didn’t believe words or thoughts would have an impact. I couldn’t have been any more wrong. It has taken many many months, many tears and some laughter too, but in one session, you pushed your chair to the wall, turned the lights on and off, then on and off again, and again. Now words were said, until you finally said to me that when I am feeling down, I need to flip the switch. I need to recognize those moments of sadness and flip the switch. You emphasized that is is ok to mourn or be sad at times, but you must flip that switch and train your brain of the positives.

You also taught me gratitude, and to wake up every day grateful for what I do have and not what I am missing.

With what I started with a deaf ear and not wanting to hear your words and thoughts has turned into one of the best things I have done. I truly believe everyone should have the benefit of therapy and I just wanted to let you know how appreciative I am of all of your help, support and encouragement.

It is still a work in progress, but just thought I would let you know my mind is in the best place it has been in a very long time, and I have you to thank for that.”

Fondest Regards,

John

“Thanks for the session yesterday. Last night was the first night in a long time that I fell asleep within a few minutes. Even my fiance said she can’t remember last time I fell asleep quicker than her. I also think I slept continuously until after sunrise”

“I am a success and life coach and hypnotherapist in Omaha Nebraska and I just had the pleasure of taking Dr. Eimer’s two-day course on using hypnosis to treat depression that he presented at the 2020 meeting of the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association. It was an excellent experience – two days packed with useful content. Dr. Eimer is a very engaging instructor. I walked away with a whole array of tools and strategies to use, and I felt so comfortable after those two days that in the evening of the second day I used three of techniques I learned with my client that night. The information is very useful all around. One thing I particularly value is Dr. Eimer’s Core Values Therapy. It was highly effective in helping me determine the suggestions to use in the session with my weight loss client. Excellent training! Highly recommended.”

“I have been seeing Dr. Eimer at least 3 years at the pain center. I started seeing him due to the pain of my diabetic neuropathy and the joint pain I have throughout my body. He has been an incredible enhancement to me. He is a gem. What can I say? It’s been a long journey, a rugged hard journey back from depression and hopelessness, and it has been rewarding mentally, emotionally and physically. I can only get stronger. Every time I know I have an appointment I look forward to it as it is a positive and rewarding experience. This is one doctor that now I look forward to. It is a necessity to me. I don’t want to miss an appointment. Therapy with Dr. Eimer is very important to me. It’s a lot more than sitting down and talking. He has helped me build confidence in myself and my ability to solve my issues.

I have seen many therapists and it is tough to find a good therapist and Dr. Eimer is in his own class. Dr. Eimer is very important to me. It’s been a gentle ride all positive. When I leave here, I feel strong mentally emotionally and physically. It’s helped me to think clearer and better. I feel I am able to move forward with more ease as I continue my path into the future. I am, with Dr. Eimer’s help, been able to overcome certain issues in my life that before I knew Dr. Eimer I could not see myself overcoming.

Dr. Eimer has helped me through those anxieties in my life that I did not think I was ever going to be able to change. I had lost most of my family-my wife, and my parents, and my health. Now I have a girlfriend and I overcame my grief and guilt about my wife’s death with Dr. Eimer’s help. He put a very strong new light on my problems and that is a blessing on its own. Without him I don’t think I could have functioned as well as I do. I lost over 100 pounds and my diabetes and pain is under control. I like to see him now for maintenance sessions at least twice a month.”

“I lost faith in doctors years ago, constantly saying, “I don’t know”. Off they’d send me to the next in line, with a shrug of the shoulder every time. Then I was sent to this Center, I instantly knew, the day I entered. You’re not like the one’s of whom I’m speaking. You work hard, yet gentle; constantly teaching. The way you can “do” what others can’t, makes me feel like a prayer’s been grant. So I write this little note to you, to “Thank You”, for all that you do! You have restored my faith – Sincerely, S.L. A grateful patient”

“I didn’t think I would survive with this awful pain and I was ready to end it. The pain medicine wasn’t controlling the pain and my doctor didn’t want to increase it. At first I was skeptical of hypnosis and talk therapy. But Dr. Eimer was very easy to talk to and I look forward to our weekly sessions. Now I am off the pain medicine, and I am no longer depressed. Don’t get me wrong, I still have back pain but I am handling it and working again. I owe it all to Dr. Eimer. If you have severe pain and depression, don’t give up. See Dr. Eimer.”

“I’m 58 and I’ve been smoking three packs a day of Marlboro lights for 31 years. I knew I had to quit smoking or I wouldn’t see my 60th birthday. I’ve tried to quit many times, but my business is stressful and I did enjoy smoking. I saw Dr. Eimer for his one-session stop smoking in November of last year and I have not smoked since. This time I know I will never smoke again and if I do have a problem, I can always see Dr. Eimer for a refresher session. Dr. Eimer taught me instant stress management skills. Dr. Eimer definitely saved my life.”

“I moved to Florida from New York half a year ago after retiring from a 35-year career as an executive director of a national foundation. Honestly, I didn’t know what to do with myself. I lost my husband two years ago and I do not have children. I got really depressed and contemplated the unthinkable. I was lonely and I had no motivation to meet people. My primary care doctor recommended I see Dr. Eimer. I am so glad I did. I am working with him to tame my depressive moods and my anxieties. I am learning to be a better friend to myself. Dr. Eimer is kind and compassionate. I feel I’m in good hands and I don’t feel the stigma of needing to see a therapist. Everyone needs help at some point in their lives. I highly recommend you give therapy a try and if you can, see Dr. Eimer.”
