I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida. I specialize in treating trauma survivors and people with anxiety, depression, grief, and chronic pain. My goal as your therapist would be to provide a secure base for us to collaborate in helping you evolve into your best self. I specialize in hypnosis, hypnotherapy, and energy psychology to help people stop bad habits such as smoking and overeating, resolve trauma, and relieve pain. My therapy is patient centered which means I fit the techniques I employ to your individual needs. My therapy is also emotionally focused which means I focus on the feelings you are experiencing in the session in addition to your thoughts as we talk about your issues. Research has shown that change occurs when insights have emotional impact.
I am trained in a variety of approaches. These include Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy, EMDR Therapy, Tapping Therapies such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), “Internal Family Systems Therapy”, “Acceptance & Commitment Therapy” and “Dialectical Behavior Therapy”.
I use solution-oriented hypnosis, hypnotherapy, and energy psychology to help people make desired changes rapidly. I conduct “Hypnotic Regression Therapy” sessions to help clients discover the unconscious causes of their symptoms and then release their emotional attachment to these factors. I practice and teach my clients “Mindful Self-Compassion”.
Since the onset of the pandemic in 2020, I have been conducting online sessions almost exclusively. Therefore, you can see me in the comfort and safety of your home. I have helped thousands of clients recover from depression, grief, trauma, and anxiety problems, relieve pain, and eliminate bad habits. I am also a teacher of other therapists. Go to my calendar to schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation with my assistant Suzan Siegel, or call the office at 561-377-1039, and find out how I can help you.
I moved to South Florida in 2019 and proudly serve the communities of Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, Wellington, West Palm Beach, and surrounding areas. I offer convenient online appointments so you can have therapy with me from anywhere.
